Abstract |
In the process of bringing municipalities into compliance with the present phosphorus regulations, questions have arisen regarding the efficacy of point source phosphorus reduction in view of the large contribution from nonpoint sources. The document represents a review of scientific literature and information from Illinois watersheds for the purpose of clarifying the influence of phosphorus on lake water quality and relative contribution of point and nonpoint sources. |
