Abstract |
EPA's Office of Drinking Water is interested in using the C.t concept for providing guidance as to adequate disinfection for inactivating Giardia cysts. Using both animal infectivity and excystation data a model has been developed for predicting C.t values. The model is then incorporated into a regulatory strategy that may be used for specifying C.t values for EPA's Surface Water Treatment Rule. |
