Abstract | The purpose and scope of this study is to determine to what extent algae and actinomycetes might be responsible for producing tastes and odors in the Wabash River, and in Grand Lake in Western Ohio, a highly enriched lake which contributes a substantial amount of algae actinomycetes and nutrients to the upper reaches of the Wabash River during periods of high lake storage. The data gathered include algae, actinomycete, physical, chemical, and streamflow information. |
