Abstract |
The manual describes short-term (four- to eight-day) methods for estimating the chronic toxicity of effluents and receiving waters to a freshwater fish, an invertebrate, and an alga. Also included are guidelines on laboratory safety, quality assurance, facilities and equipment, dilution water, effluent sampling and holding, data analysis, and organism culturing and handling. Listings of computer programs for Dunnett's Procedure and Probit Analysis are provided in the Appendix. |
