Abstract

The report summarizes information obtained in a preliminary effluent disposal study of certain river basin areas which have been suggested as possible locations for pulp and paper mills in the southeastern portion of the State of Missouri. The river basins involved in the study were Gasconade, Current, Black, St. Francis, Big, and Meramec Rivers and the portion of the Mississippi River from Sainte Genevieve to New Madrid, Missouri.
