Abstract |
The Forest Response Program (FRP) is a research initiative under Task Group V of the National Acid Precipitation Assessment Program (NAPAP). In response to reports of forest decline, the FRP was established to estimate actual and potential effects of acid deposition and its associated pollutants on trees, forests and forest ecosystems in the regions of the United States. The purpose of the document is to synthesize research on: Changes in forest condition greater than can be attributed to natural variability; and Spatial patterns existing in forest condition ions and their relation to spatial patterns of exposure. |
