Abstract |
A computerized, educational program treating operations research and systems analysis applications in water resources was developed for students and administrators in water resources. Topics in the program are selected from the current applications in water resources research and administration. Criteria for evaluating existing computer models are delineated. Based upon the criteria, few existing models can be readily adapted to instructional use. The alternative of incorporating the essential model features in a new program allows expansion of the set of models utilized in the program. Four models for instructional use are described.
