Abstract
This fact sheet summarizes the information in the RED document for reregistration case 2055, bis(trichloromethyl)sulfone. bis(trichloromethyl)sulfone is used to control microbes, algae, and fungi in cooling water systems, waste disposal systems, pulp and paper mill water systems, oil extraction systems, and other industrial settings (adhesives, industrial coatings, industrial emulsions, etc.). Formulations include soluble concentrated liquids, ready-to-use liquids, and soluble concentrated solids. These products are added to systems and industrial products using pouring and pumping methods.
