Abstract | The subsurface injection well inventory within the State of Illinois will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for the State's residents. The comprehensive efforts among a variety of individuals, will provide a systematic format of cataloging, categorizing, and confirming a number of injection wells and their locations. This report reviews and summarizes the relevant research, contacts, policies, follow-up work, and other factors that are necessary in producing a working inventory model for Class IV and V injection wells within the State of Illinois. |
