Abstract |
The lead guideline document is a compilation of currently available policy and guidance for lead programs. It is intended only to provide a guide to lead policy and guidance in effect at the time of the document's preparation and does not present any new policy and guidance. Each chapter summarizes relevant policy and guidance and provides detailed references to guide the user to more complete sources found in the appendix and elsewhere. References include statutory and regulatory sources (Clean Air Act and Code of Federal Regulations), Federal Register notices, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidance documents and memoranda, and questions and answers. The guideline covers topics such as air quality status, air quality monitoring and modeling, and control strategies. |
