Abstract |
The status of EPA's Fuel Cleaning Program as of August, 1976, is presented in non-technical language. The objective of the program is to reduce environmental pollution by advancing the state-of-the-art of fuel cleaning technologies so that low-pollutant fuels can be produced in a cost-effective manner in commercial-scale quantities. Significant accomplishments of the program are summarized and the thrust of the current research effort is discussed. A bibliography of R&D reports related to the fuel cleaning program is attached. |
