Abstract |
The report gives results of a study of energy consumption in the primary metals and petroleum industries. It analyzes energy-intensive steps or operations for commonly used manufacturing processes. Results of the analyses are in the form of energy consumption block diagrams, energy-intensive equipment schematic diagrams, and tables that indicate the causes of energy losses, as well as possible conservation approaches. |
