| Abstract | This Technical Guidance Document provides comprehensive guidance on procedures for quality assurance and quality control for waste containment facilities. The document includes a discussion of principles and concepts, compacted soil liners, soil drainage systems, geosynthetic drainage systems, vertical cutoff walls, ancillary materials, appurtenances, and other details. The guidance document outlines critical Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) issues for each major segment and recommends specific procedures, observations, tests, corrective actions, and record keeping requirements.
