Abstract |
Based on a study to assess the application and utility of sheltering and evacuation as specific protective measures in the event of accidental releases of gaseous radioactive material from nuclear power plants, this report is the second of two parts that deal specifically with the effectiveness of sheltering and evacuationas protective actions. The first report focused on the benefits of sheltering and this report compares the relative merits of evacuation and sheltering for variations of basic conditions. |
