| Abstract |
During the 1976 Atlantic 2800 meter radioactive waste disposal site survey, the first recovery of a radioactive waste package from a radioactive waste disposal site was performed by the EPA Office of Radiation Programs. The retrieved 80-gallon radioactive waste package was transported to Brookhaven National Laboratory where container corrosion and matrix leach rate and degradation studies were conducted. |
