Abstract |
In May and June of 1980 EPA promulgated Underground Injection Control (UIC) regulations under the authority of Part C of the Safe Drinking Water Act. Several major corporations individually and collectively through their trade associations and the State of Texas petitioned the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals for review of the regulations. In all the plaintiffs filed petitions covering 93 issues. The Agency has discussed these issues with the petitioners and has reviewed studies on which it relied to draft the regulations. |
