Abstract
This report summarizes reported data on air emissions from prescribed burning, which is defined as the skillful application of fire in forest and range management under conditions that will confine the fire to a predetermined area and accomplish certain planned benefits. Prescribed fire is used on a seasonal basis in all regions of the United States.
