Abstract |
The Best Management Practices (BMPs) offered an attractive and feasible alternative to the partial solution of stormwater runoff induced receiving water quality impairment for the City of Rochester, New York. The configured BMP program resulted in a measureable reduction in the frequency and volume of combined sewer overflow (CSO) discharged to the Genesee River. The study defined and outlined the effective BMP measures, advanced a methodology of approach, and established preliminary cost/benefit relationships. |
