Abstract |
The area identified as the light nonaqueous-phase liquid (LNAPL) Source Area (LSA), Operable Unit (OU) 1, is located at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. The preferred interim action for source control at the LSA is Alternative 3. Alternative 3 involves: construction and operation of a passive recovery system for LNAPL, recovery and offsite treatment and disposal of LNAPL, and temporary onsite stockpiling of soil excavated during construction. |
