Abstract |
This report provides the necessary guidance to control emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from solvent metal cleaning operations. Emissions are characterized and reasonably available control technology (RACT) is defined for each of the three major categories of solvent metal cleaners: cold cleaners, open top vapor degreasers, and conveyorized degreasers. Information on the cost of control, environmental impact, and enforcement issues is also included. |
