Abstract | The Northwest Area Contingency Plan (NWACP) provides Federal, state, local, and tribal governments with policies and procedures for responding to worst-case discharges of oil or hazardous substances. The NWACP, in conjunction with the National Contingency Plan functions as the Inland Area Contingency Plan for the Environmental Protection Agency. The plan is intended to be utilized as a site-specific guidance document detailing resource priority information, protection and cleanup strategies, and local logistical information. |
