Abstract |
The State of South Carolina has a wide attraction for a variety of industries as witnessed by an increased diversification of industrialization in recent years. Our problem is to explore the specific types of industries most attracted to the Three County Area as differentiated from the remainder of the State. Without regard for the obvious advantages of this area these may well be examples of those industries most common to the State as a whole in a sort of 'spinoff' operation. These are recounted elsewhere. Industries attracted to the rest of the State, of course, might also be attracted to the Three County Area. (Author) |
