Abstract | The report documents a mathematical model developed for use in simulating water quality behavior of streams and canals. The spatial and temporal variations of temperature, biochemical oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen, and conservative minerals can be predicted on an hourly basis utilizing the one dimensional form of the advection-diffusion transport equation. The report provides instructions on program usage, input-output descriptions, program description and listing, variable name definitions and flow charts of program logic. (Author) |
