Abstract
This report estimates the potential economic impacts of EPA's proposed standards and guidance for the management and disposal of spent fuel, high-level, and transuranic radioactive wastes. The economic analysis assumes that the standards and guidance will have an incremental effect on the reference waste management programs that are assumed to take place in the future. Both commercial and defense waste management programs are covered. For the commercial sector, the impact of the standards on electricity rates is investigated.
