Abstract
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Biosystems Technology Development Program and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), with sponsorship from the U.S. Air Force (USAF), coordinated a meeting on the Natural Attenuation of Ground Water at the Hyatt Regency in Denver, Colorado, on August 30 through September 1, 1994. The purpose of this meeting was to bring together interested members of the bioremediation community, including state and federal regulators, academicians, industry, and remedial contractors, to share regulatory and field perspectives, present laboratory and field research, and discuss issues related to the successful implementation and evaluation of natural attenuation.
