| Abstract |
This report provides estimates of the total investment required to retrofit pollution control devices on existing coke ovens based on the state-of-the-art in 1973. Projected operating costs of these devices are estimated along with an evaluation of their effects on the return on investment. In addition some of the problems related to retrofitting pollution control equipment are reviewed in relation to the expected relative effectiveness of the control device. |
