Abstract |
Volume one, of the two volume series, contains emission data obtained from source tests, material balance studies, engineering estimates, etc., have been compiled for use by individuals and groups responsible for conducting air pollution emission inventories. Emission factors given in the document cover most of the common stationary and area source emission categories: fuel combustion; combustion of solid wastes; evaporation of fuels; solvents and other volatile substances; various industrial processes; and miscellaneous sources. When no specific source test data are available, these factors can be used to estimate the quantities of pollutants being released from a source or source group. |
