| Abstract |
The impact of institutional and political factors on water management in the Upper Wabash Basin is discussed. The need for alternatives in water management and the ability of systems analysis to generate these alternatives are discussed. The physical and economic setting are described. A more extensive discussion of the public and private organizations involved in water management and the policies and programs in effect is included. The factors which tend to limit the use of systems analysis methods are summarized. |
