Abstract |
Volume II provides responses to all comment letters submitted on the Draft Environmental Statement. Testimony, both written and oral, received in connection with the public hearing on the standards held March 8-10, 1976, and letters related to that hearing are not included. All of the comment letters are reproduced in the appendix together with an index which provides a guide to locating the comment letters by code number. The comments are grouped by subject matter into several areas of concern, which generally correspond to the organization of material in Volume I. The responses are brief, and make reference to Volume I and its supporting document when more detailed technical information is appropriate. Regulations setting forth these environmental radiation standards were promulgated in final form January 13, 1977 (42FR 2858). |
