Abstract |
This project attempted to evaluate concentrations of various radionuclides within components of ecological systems directly and indirectly connected with the granitic outcrops of the Georgia Piedmont. When concentrations were known, as well as something about variabilities, attempts were made to explain actions and interactions between various radioisotopes, soils, plants, water-flow through communities and concentrations within components of the respective ecosystems. The purposes have been to document concentrations of radioisotopes within the biogeochemical cycling of one kind of an ecological system. |
