Abstract | Coral Cove Park lies within the State of Florida's Jensen Beach to Jupiter Inlet Aquatic Preserve, which is part of the Indian River Lagoon system. This project is adjacent to some of the most pristine and extensive seagrass beds in Palm Beach County. This area is an important manatee feeding area and habitat for fish and invertebrates and an active water related recreational area. The objectives of this demonstration project are to create fisheries habitat, to provide environmental education for the public, and to demonstrate how this type of project is applicable to the enhancement and preservation of the Indian River Lagoon. |
