Abstract
A laboratory and pilot-scale investigation of a treatment sequence, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment steps led to a full-scale installation for the treatment of tank truck washing wastewater. The system included gravity separation, equalization, neutralization, dissolved air flotation, mixed-media filtration, carbon adsorption, and biological treatment.
