Abstract | A report is presented of a comprehensive study of nitrogen oxides emissions from stationary sources. The report discusses: the sources of nitrogen oxides; formation and control of emissions from combustion sources; stack-gas cleaning, formation and control of emissions from chemical operations, and sampling and analytical methods. it is hoped that the report will be useful in planning and coordinating the research, development, and demonstration programs required to meet the national need for cleaner air.
