| Abstract |
A monitoring network to assess the impact of energy resource development on surface water quality in Western Mountain States is developed. A literature review of energy resource development activities, known and potential pollutants, monitoring strategies, and data requirements for statistical analyses located the river systems most likely to be affected, determined parameters of interest, and identified deficiencies in existing monitoring operations. |
