Abstract

A report is presented of a project which was designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the SYMAP Computer Mapping Program to display the sulfur levels of coal and the quantities of coal available at various sulfur levels. The report presents information in the following sections: SYMAP mapping techniques, GRID and SYMVU techniques, discussion of study area graphics, additional data considerations, and data handling routines.
