| Abstract | The objectives of this study were to determine the state-of-the-art of thermal destruction of industrial toxic waste, and to identify and prioritize research needs in this area. Through a literature search, discussion with EPA personnel, discussions with authorities in the area of thermal destruction, and attendance at a national meeting on the subject, the state-of-the-art of thermal destruction of industrial toxic waste has been determined, and research needs which may be expected to provide useful results have been identified. |
