Abstract
This report represents the third in a series of studies of drainage basins undertaken to determine the relative importance of major sources of pollutants found at the influent of publicly-owned treatment works (POTWs). The general categories of residential, commercial, aand industrial have been identified as appropriate classifications for this study. This drainage basin provided the opportunity to sample a larger fraction of commercial activity, including an entire downtown area, and had the largest and most chemically intensive industrial areas studied to date.
