Abstract |
The overall goal of this study was to investigate the problems which result from deposition of ammonium sulfates in an air preheater. More specifically, the study had three major objectives. The first was to determine the conditions under which ammonium sulfates are expected to form. The second objective was to identify the factors which influence the formation of ammonium sulfates. The third objective was to identify and evaluate methods for preventing ammonium sulfate deposition/corrosion in air preheaters. |
