Abstract | In March 1975 to respond to concerns about the possible adverse health and environmental effects of Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines, the Environmental Protection Agency requested data and information from the public (through a Federal Register Notice) on the health and environmental effects of 60 Hz transmission lines energized at 700 kV or higher. A review and analyses of more than 50 replies totaling over 6,000 pages is presented in this document. |
