Abstract |
A laboratory evaluation of the use of acidic and basic fly ashes, bentonite, bauxite, illite, kaolinite, zeolite, vermiculite, and activated alumina is presented for polishing a 3.8 x 10 to the 6th power liters per day waste stream from the feldspar mining and processing industry. Activated alumina which is used for the removal of fluoride in potable water supplies is included for comparison purposes. |
