| Abstract |
The purpose of this document is to explain the intent and requirements of the Part 503 regulation and to assist in determining the extent to which sludge management operation is covered by the new regulation. To help clarify the intent of the Part 503 regulation, the guidance document sometimes uses terms not present in the regulation itself and organizes information differently from the regulation. This document does not serve as a substitute for the actual Part 503 regulations published in the Federal Register and the Code of Federal Regulations. |
