Abstract |
A comprehensive data base of chemicals identified in human biological media (tissues and body fluids) has been established under the direction of the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Toxic Substances Exposure Evaluation Division. This centralized resource of body-burden information was inspired by the concern of government scientists over continuing reports of toxic chemicals in human tissues and body fluids. Data were obtained primarily from the open literature through manual searches of selected journals. The file contains information on over 1000 chemicals that have been found in human biological media. Part 1 contains introductory materials, references, literature citations, indices, and a chemical directory. (ERA citation 10:021745) |
