Abstract |
The report concerns both laboratory and field testing of sampling materials and sampling mechanisms with an emphasis on minimizing error, particularly for volatile organic compound sampling and analysis. The essential elements of effective ground-water sampling include; Evaluation of the hydrogeologic setting and program information needs; Proper well-placement and construction; Evaluation of well-performance and purging strategies; Design and execution of sampling and analytical protocols. |
