Symposium | During the second year of the grant, the work also has been described in a number of places, some of which were mentioned in the report filed 3 months ago: the AAAS symposium on Sustainibility Through Science organized by Paul Anastas and Mary Kirchoff of the EPA, and invited lectures at Northwestern University, Hamline University, Fordham University, Purdue University, the Wellington University New Zealand, Gothenburg University Sweden, the University of Lisbon in Portugal, at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, the Philadelphia Organic Chemists Club, the Beckman Foundation, the Sarah Woode Foundation, the American Chemical Society Meeting in San Francisco, and at International Symposia in Pune, India, and Manchester, England. I am also an invited lecturer at the symposium on Reactions in Water at the Pacific Chemical meeting in Hawaii in December 2000, where work on this project will be described. |
