Progress Summary:
Since its initial U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funding, awarded in August 2002, The Consortium for Plant Biotechnology Research (CPBR) has made 28 subawards to investigators at member universities and to collaborators at minority institutions. Below are lists of all of the projects funded from the 2001 through 2005 Environmental Research and Technology Transfer (ERTT) competitions. Specific details of the projects are contained in the 2006 Annual Project summaries of the projects funded.
CPBR’s 2007 ERTT competition, begun in late 2005, is nearing completion. As an integral part of that competition, a Symposium was held February 28-March 2, 2006, in Washington, DC, at which investigators presented preproposal posters describing the research they were proposing. In addition, investigators funded in the 2001 through 2004 ERTT competitions presented talks describing the research they are doing with their EPA funding.
