EPA released the report, "ORD Staff Handbook for Developing IRIS Assessments," or "IRIS Handbook," which provides the operating procedures for developing assessments to the scientists in the IRIS Program. [Press Release, Dec 22, 2022]

EPA announced a call for scientific and policy-relevant information for the development of an Integrated Science Assessment (ISA) for Oxides of Nitrogen (Health Criteria). The deadline for submitting a response to this call was February 7, 2023. [Federal Register Notice Dec 9, 2022]

The action plan, case study, and workbook found in this report demonstrate a structured process for integrating climate-smart design considerations into restoration planning using A Manager's Guide to Coral Reef Restoration Planning and Design, focusing on an example goal of recovering nature-based coastal protection services.

EPA announced the release of the final report, Climate Change and Social Vulnerability in the United States: A Focus on Six Impacts. This report investigates the projected risks of climate change to socially vulnerable populations in the U.S. across six impact sectors: air quality, heat stress, labor, roads, coastal flooding, and inland flooding.
