Downloading ZIP Files
To download a zip file, click on the file name in the Report Search Results table, select “Save” at the “File Download” prompt, and enter the appropriate personal computer (PC) or network drive destination.

Opening ZIP Files
To open a zip file, you must extract the zip file contents to your PC or network drive using file compression/extraction software (e.g., WinZIP®, PowerArchiver®). First, click on the zip file name in the Report Search Results table. At the “File Download” prompt, you have two options for extracting the zip file contents:

Viewing ERT Files
To view the ERT project data set (PDS) extracted from a zip file, you must use the ERT program. You can download the latest version of the program from the "Installation, Program Files, and User’s Guide" section of the ERT homepage at: http://www.epa.gov/ttn/chief/ert/index.html. After you have downloaded the zip file containing the ERT program, find the file on your PC or network drive and click on the ERT program zip file. From the PowerArchiver® list, select the file named "ERT4.accdb.icon" and click on the “Extract” icon. Enter the appropriate PC or network drive destination at the “Extract” prompt.

To access the ERT Main Menu, click on the "Continue" button at the "Welcome to the ERT" screen. If you receive a macro error message, click on the error message, then click on the "Options" button in the header tool bar, and then click on "Enable this content".

At the ERT Main Menu, click on the "Select Project Data Set" button and find the ERT PDS extracted from the zip file that you downloaded from the ERT Search Results table. After you select the PDS of interest, that file name will appear in the "Current Project Data Set:" field and you will be able to view the contents of the PDS.
