This journal article addresses the question of how likely tank sediments are to be resuspended and to drain from the tank, potentially impacting human health. AUsing computational fluid dynamics software, and sediment models from the literature, a variety of normal tank operating conditions are assessed to evaluate the likelihood of tank sediment resuspension.
