JUDSON, R., A. M. RICHARD, M. WOLF, T. Cathey, T. TRANSUE, F. ELLOUMI, D. SMITH, AND J. VAIL. ACToR - Aggregated Computational Toxicology Resource. Presented at EPA Science Forum 2008, Washington, DC, May 20 - 22, 2008.

Impact/Purpose:

Develop predictive in vitro screening assays that can be used to prioritize chemicals for detailed testing. ToxCast program requires large amounts of data: In vitro assays (mainly generated by ToxCast program) and In vivo data to develop and validate predictive signatures ACToR is compiling both sets of data for use in predictive algorithms.

Description:

There are too many uncharacterized environmental chemicals to test with current in vivo protocols.
