Description:
Green chemistry is a rapid developing new field that provides us a pro-active avenue for the sustainable development of future science and technologies. When designed properly, clean chemical technology can be developed in water as a reaction media. The technologies generated from such green chemistry endeavors may often be cheaper and more profitable as exemplified by a wide range of possibilities that include use of water soluble renewable materials, C-C bond forming reactions using organometallic reagents and exploiting the use of alternate energy sources such as solar, microwave and ultrasound in accelerated chemical syntheses.
